Balaclava Home – kitchen, bathroom & powder room

Our clients wanted to transform their small Balaclava townhouse into something, ‘fun, contemporary and monochromatic’. With space being their biggest issue, our designer had to ensure they styled to scale and incorporated more storage throughout the home.

For the kitchen this meant taking out the existing full-length window and replacing it with a Louvre window, allowing the designer to increase bench space.

We increased the main bathroom size by taking additional space from the spare bedroom. This allowed the designer to create a beautiful bespoke double vanity and incorporate a large luxe shower.

Nick our site supervisor was exemplary. Twice during our construction we were overseas and he managed our project by sending photos and emails regularly. Nicks keen eye to detail meant that things were completed to the highest possible spec. He went above and beyond replying to texts, phone calls and emails and always offered possible solutions to issues arising when renovating. His building team were spotless and although not living at home while renovating I was shocked at how clean and tidy he left the site each day. Any small issues I pointed out were rectified usually within 24 hours and anything beyond that ; out of the teams control were spoken with honesty and given deadlines which were met with ease. I extended my project with a number of smaller jobs, Nick managed these with ease and was very accommodating giving his ideas and recommendations for further improvements.
