Flight of Fancy

Love this house made from recycled 747 parts. While the project could have used plane parts in a more obvious and kitsch way, the tapering form of the wings is iconic but totally suited to this structure and site. The dusk photos highlighting the silhouettes against the horizon totally make you feel like you are looking out the window, just before landing or after take off. It is perhaps this that captivates me the most, as I always find that time on an aircraft a very contemplative one.
